A tailored garment is born from a different relationship with the body. We don't start from a standard size but from a direct measurement — the real dimensions of the person who will wear the garment — and we build a pattern that speaks to that specific body. It is the highest degree of technical personalisation.

Industrial pattern making starts from standardised sizes and applies proportional increments. Bespoke starts from the body: direct measurement, analysis of asymmetries, adaptation of the garment's proportions to the client's specific posture. The number of iterations is higher, the final precision is absolute. For certain garments — a formal coat, a ceremonial dress, a stage jacket — there is no alternative.
For high-profile private clients, we guarantee absolute confidentiality on identity, measurements and project details. No photographs, no mentions. The relationship is handled with the same discretion as a law firm.
Among tailored garments, the double-faced construction occupies a particular position — and it is one of the studio's specialisations. A double-faced fabric is made of two bonded layers that are separated by hand along the edges to build the finishes without lining: no traditional visible seams, hems closed with hand stitching, a reverse as clean as the face. From a pattern-making point of view this changes everything: allowances are built differently, curves must account for the opening of the two layers, and every fitting correction has to be planned knowing that the making-up forgives no approximation. It is the garment where pattern and workmanship depend on each other more than in any other construction.
The project follows the studio's four-phase method, adapted to made-to-measure. The brief includes the taking of measurements (over 20 points) and posture analysis; pattern development builds the geometry directly on the measurements taken, without going through a standard size; the prototype in toile validates the structure on the real body, with progressive fitting sessions; delivery comprises the garment or the documented pattern, depending on the engagement. For brands that start from the made-to-measure garment and move towards a small series, the bespoke pattern can be industrialised: the base size is defined from the approved garment and size grading proceeds on the desired range.

In-person measurement guarantees maximum precision. As an alternative, we provide an assisted self-measurement protocol (over 20 points) that the client can carry out with the help of an assistant. For the first toile trial, at least one in-person session is almost always required.
Yes. We handle pattern making for productions from 1 to roughly 50 garments, working with selected artisan workshops. For larger volumes, the service integrates with standard industrial pattern making.
From 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the garment and the number of fitting sessions required. We work by appointment with a shared calendar from the start of the project.
