Twenty years of product development distilled into four phases. Each step has a documented output, an indicative timeline and a shared validation point with the client.

Brief Analysis

Indicative time: 1–3 days. Reading of the creative brief, inspection of the reference sample or competitor garment, identification of production constraints (type of façon, available cutting systems), technical DNA of the brand.

Output: scope document with technical perimeter, timelines, validation milestones and economic perimeter.

Digital Development

Indicative time: 5–10 days depending on complexity. Construction of the base pattern in industrial CAD, fit correction, size grading with proportional verification, first marker-making hypothesis. For down-filled outerwear: reconstruction of volume curves to manage the padding.

Output: native CAD file + DXF, first tech pack, seam and allowance list.

Prototype Validation

Indicative time: 3–7 days plus prototyping façon time. Fitting session on mannequin and on live model, critical analysis of the construction, written technical report with annotated photos. Further iterations only where verification requires them — not by trial and error.

Output: numbered fitting report, updated CAD file, revised tech pack.

Production-Ready

Indicative time: 1–2 days of consolidation. Full production package: final CAD files (native + DXF), definitive tech pack, marker making optimised for consumption, sewing instructions, revision log.

Output: signed ZIP archive + delivery checklist countersigned with the client.

What we do NOT do during the process

  • We do not accept mid-development scope changes without reopening the initial document: clarity is a form of respect for the project.
  • We do not work on someone else's disordered files without a preliminary audit. If an inherited file needs cleaning up, we treat it as a separate service.

How long does it take to develop a pattern?

It depends on the complexity of the garment. A basic pattern takes 3–5 working days; a technical outerwear piece with full size grading can require 10–15 days. Timelines are always defined in the initial brief, with a shared calendar.

How is project confidentiality protected?

Every collaboration is protected by a confidentiality agreement. Project files are not stored on shared cloud services. We never mention clients, brands or collection details — neither publicly nor with third parties.

In which formats do you deliver CAD files?

Files are delivered in the native format of the CAD software used (Lectra, Optitex, Gerber) and in universal DXF. The tech pack is provided as a structured PDF and, on request, in editable format.

Do you also work with emerging brands, or only with large maisons?

We collaborate with brands of different sizes, provided the project requires high technical expertise. The criterion is not the size of the brand, but the complexity of the garment and the need for construction quality.
